A new platform for buyers and brands within the food and drink sector to connect and do business. Food brands can sign up and create their own page to advertise their unique products. But the real power comes when food buyers start searching on the site, allowing small businesses the chance to get their products seen by buyers, which otherwise can be extremely difficult.
I became involved in this project partway through the build, when the clients existing design/development partner left the project. I helped with the design of a number of key pages including the news section, and user profiles. I designed and wrote a spec document for the development of the "Trusted Partners" section, liaising with the new dev team to get it built and installed.
Also wrote a new scope of work for the development of additional functionality, and bug fixing which had been left unfinished. Implemented a new system to manage user subscriptions, and a completely new registration flow for new users. Integrated the site with Drip and set up email templates and user workflows based on user type.
